Regional Whisky Ambassador

Company Background:

Our client is a prominent spirits company with more than a decade of history in the market. They are currently looking for a Regional Whisky Ambassador (SouthEast Asia) to be based in Kuala Lumpur office.

Overall Scope and Purposes:

As Regional Whisky Ambassador you will assist in the delivery of any specific brand activation required by markets. In doing so you will help develop Advocacy as a competitive advantage for our company in Southeast Asia.

Working closely with the brand team and in collaboration with the key markets you will play a critical role in the progression of the brand, providing key inputs as to how to deliver AMEA’s Whisky vision.

You will lead development and implementation of education and advocacy programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing education and advocacy programs for consumers, customers, sales teams and whisky influencers in key markets. In a complex, crowded whiskey market, the brand ambassador role is especially critical to accelerating growth in emerging markets and gain the engagement via digital transformation.
• To lead digital brand agenda among trade influencers/whisky communities
• To lead the execution Brand Advocacy Strategy
• To control execution of the brands experiential platform in on-premise
• To align and help localize the brand advocacy agenda with global company strategy

Required Skills

• Digital savvy, personally passionate about whisky, with an inclusive approach and a global mindset and a huge curiosity and an eye for detail.
• Digital/Social media track-record
• Diverse Cultural & Geographical Experience
• Passionate about the whisky/spirit world
• Multi-functional experience: Innovations, SMM, Trade
• Ability to create the digital network (Social) to influence the professional community
• A self-starter that can work under pressure and deal comfortably with ambiguity.
