Job description:

Reporting – Manager – SSC Manager and Head of FP & A (Dotted Line) 

Budget – RM – 6,000.00

Work Arrangements – 3 days in Office 2 day flexible and WFH

Goodpack is looking for a Finance Specialist to support finance-related activities in our Global Shared Service Centre (SSC) based in KL, Malaysia.

Credit Evaluation

  • Perform financial analysis on prospects/customer accounts with reference to standard operating procedures
  • Document and upkeep the findings/results of the credit evaluation for each customer
  • Act as a coordinator between sales, accounts receivable team and credit approvers
  • Keep informed of changes in economic and/or market conditions that might affect credit risks
  • Help avert payment defaults by monitoring existing credit portfolio to ensure quality credit
  • Assist in improving credit due diligence processes and establishing best practices by identifying gaps for improvements
  • Perform an investigation to verify the identity of customers before recommending credit to them
  • Responsible for identifying and reporting suspicious activity to the appropriate account receivables teams
  • Assist with the development of credit training/education
  • Coordinate credit administration support through the monitoring of past dues and document reasons for past dues in an ERP environment
  • Provide support to billing team when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support monthly management reporting
  • Support Group budget and forecasting exercise
  • Perform calculation of monthly auxiliary charges to customer
  • Support ad-hoc requests of financial data and analysis.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma qualification in Accountancy/Business/Management
  • At least 1 years’ post qualifying experience
  • IT-savvy with ERP environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to handle big data set.
  • Some working knowledge in an accounting environment/department is an advantage
  • Able to comprehend numerical and financial data
  • Results oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong process orientation with attention to details
  • Good writing and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to engage with people at all levels
