Under immediate supervision, the jobholder performs assigned tasks using established procedures.  Works independently (and within a greater team of experts) to manage all contractual IT M&A activity . Proposes and may implement changes to contracts.

Contractor will be responsible for working specifically with IT contracts – services and software – as they relate to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.    Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in understanding, vetting and negotiating contractual language for IT agreements, as it relates to M&A activities.

• Analyzes contracts for new purchases, renewals, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures related to IT technology.
• Collaborates with internal customers to collect contract requirements for potential renegotiation, termination or assignment.
• Negotiates commercial terms on all assigned contracts following Huntsman-specific contract requirements
• Establishes and manages contract records in contract repositories including contract information, notifications of contract renewal alerts, contract triggers and related artifacts
• Accurately analyzes and communicates changes to requirements for renewals to meet the needs of the business
• Takes steps to terminate contracts as needed
• May coordinate and lead periodic meetings and related reporting of in-process contract requests within IT
