IT Process Specialist

Summary

The Process and Tools Expert is part of the Project Management Office of Digital Business Services, Mettler-Toledo’s central IT organization. The Process and Tools Expert is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the various tools and processes used within Digital Business Services and other IT related functions in Mettler-Toledo. The Process and Tools Expert will – together with the Process & Methods team - work on defining the IT processes, implement those processes in the relevant tools, maintain the tools and ensure that users are following the defined processes. The main tools used and supported by the Process and Tools Expert are currently ServiceNow for managing the work within IT, TeamDynamix for time reporting and Microfocus Quality Center for managing test cases and test executions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather requirements regarding IT processes and translate them to functional requirements
• Design build, test and maintain the IT processes in ServiceNow, TeamDynamix and Quality Center
• Perform standard monitoring and system administration tasks on the supported tools
• Maintain the necessary master data in the IT tools
• Optimize and automate IT processes in the IT tools and build required interfaces to other tools
• React on user requests and provide them support by providing explanations, performing data maintenance and fixing issues
• Ensure data accuracy and that defined processes are followed and follow-up with users as required
• Ensure that defined processes are followed and follow-up with the users as required
• Provide trainings to IT teams on the use of the supported IT tools
