Financial Manager

Manage the Malaysia Shared Services Centre

• Manage the Finance Leaders (AP, AR, GL, Collection) and manage finance deliverables and partially cover duties during manager absences

• Monitor the completion and filing of all group companies’ VAT submissions, corporation tax returns, and financial statements (including audits where applicable), ensuring full compliance with local requirements

• Monitor the completion of monthly reconciliations of all related party loan balances

• Review General Ledger, including management accounting, cost allocation and intercompany recharges

• Review Group Reporting, including P&L, cash flow & balance sheet, and including budget & forecast, at company and consolidated levels

• Perform ad hoc tasks relating to any special project

• Perform Malaysia company’s Management Accounting, intercompany billing, SSC costings, audit, budget, annual tax return, tax estimation, Annual Return and any other administrative tasks, including liaising with various stakeholders (eg Auditor, Tax Agent, Company Secretary, Banker)

• Perform Group companies’ financial analysis on business indicators / trends (eg margins, overheads) per schedule & on ad hoc basis

• Perform Group companies’ financial analysis on business improvement, (eg cost effectiveness, Profitability Improvement Plan)

• Implement new processes & improve existing processes, and update operation manuals

• Train and develop the existing & new staff in existing & new tasks

• Assist with recruitment, including resume screening, interview & hiring proposals

• Accept and meet KPIs for individual tasks as well as team duties

• Co-operate / support internal audit and process development

• SLA guided in terms of accuracy and timeliness
