Contracts Manager

Responsibilities
 

• Responsible for evaluation and preparation of project progress claim and verification of sub-contractor's monthly claims
• To resolve all contractual and commercial issues and disputes at site
• Review and recommend contractual claim and changes for verification & certification by superior
• Analyze all contract documentation and produce a deliverable schedule in collaboration with project team. Monitor performance against this schedule and recommend corrective actions.
• Responsible for contract administration in accordance to the condition of contract
• Discuss, draft, review, and negotiate the terms of business contracts with supplier/ Sub-contractors
• Prepare Sub-contract documents; check and evaluate Sub-contractor’s claims
• Ensure a commercial plan and end of life forecast is in place and monitored monthly for the successful commercial delivery of the project
• Produce and analyse progress reports, update costs and forecasts
• Ensure review of progress, budget resources and forward planning are carried out from time to time
• Manage, control & validate all costings and changes within the allocated budget
• Attend site meetings along with project team to monitor progress & resolving interim claim matters with Government / Sub-Contractor / Supplier.

Requirements

 

• Minimum a Degree holder in Business or any other relevant field
• Good working knowledge of contract conditions, regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting
• Preferably in transportation or infrastructure sector with strong knowledge of pre and post contract works
• Possess good analytical and negotiation skills
• Good management skill, a team player and able to cope in an accelerated work environment
• Able to work independently under pressure within tight deadlines, and possess a high level of integrity
• Experienced in dealing with government project
• Experienced in tendering process will be an added advantage
• Preferably someone who is experienced in project management
• Willing to work in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
