Overall Job Purpose:

Managing tendering activities for strategic data center opportunities for key customers across the East Asia region.

Job Responsibilities:

Pre-Tender Phase

• Support opportunity development by promoting company solutions and value propositions in collaboration with commercial, technical, and global teams.


• Manage the regional tender pipeline and coordinate stakeholders to ensure readiness for tender and execution.

Tender Phase

• Act as the single point of contact for internal teams and customers during offer preparation.


• Define and execute the tender strategy, including team setup, scope, budget, and timelines.


• Lead costing activities with technical leaders, factories, and support functions.


• Coordinate with subject matter experts (Finance, Contracts, Tax, Logistics, Purchasing) to assess project risks and define mitigation plans.


• Ensure offers meet customer requirements (pricing, lead time, compliance, consistency) while addressing local regulations and tax considerations.


• Challenge internal teams and suppliers as needed to deliver a competitive and compliant offer.


• Lead internal tender reviews and approval processes prior to offer submission.

Post-Tender Phase

• Support the account team during customer negotiations within approved mandates.


• Ensure customer purchase orders comply with internal approvals; escalate or renegotiate where required.


• Lead the handover to execution and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a University Master / Degree (Engineering and/or Business)


• Minimum 5 years in Solution Tendering and/or Customer project environment, with experience in complex tender / projects, preferably in data center or related field.


• Successful experience in project team management (functional management), remote project team management is a plus


• Proven ability to lead functional and remote team including various profiles (Local TM, Contract, Technical, SMEs.


• Ability to understand, influence and convince in a complex matrixial environment


• Aptitude to withstand time pressure and stress while keeping high performance level


• Ability to learn from others, share her/his knowledge, coach others and collaborate efficiently.


• Willing to work in Selangor.
