Key feature of the role

The Manager, Content Strategy is a driven and experienced professional with strong capabilities in developing and executing content strategies to attract and retain our target audiences. The content strategist's responsibilities include determining which formats best communicate various types of content, identifying ways to increase brand awareness, and conducting keyword research. He/ She should also be able to analyse user engagement metrics to determine whether the content is well-received or not. He/ She is expected to collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative ideas and demonstrate exceptional content presentation skills.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Public Relations and Content Communications, he/she is a creative and strategic storyteller is able to create a compelling and impactful brand experience across all content channels.

Role Description

  • Overseeing the overall strategy and operations for the Content Strategy Unit, with an in-depth understanding of how content and digital/ non-digital media can deliver results in alignment with strategic communication objectives. 
  • Coordinating with teams across the organisation to understand the team's communication objectives and market needs to build the content strategy and delivery accordingly, ensure that the tone of voice are consistent across while localised to deliver effective messaging. 
  • Partnering with Marketing, Digital Marketing and commercial units to deliver business priorities. 
  • Working collaboratively with Brand team in delivering effective content plans for campaigns for web, e-commerce, social media, online advertising, CRM and traditional promotions that drive targeted inbound traffic and guide prospects through the sales/engagement funnels. 
  • Using data and insights to creatively, analytically and critically develop campaign strategies that engage targeted audiences across all marketing channels and brand touchpoints. 
  • Developing clear and engaging content that is consistent with the company's brand image and addresses both business goals and consumer needs. 
  • Analyzing content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate consumer needs. 
  • Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing. 
  • Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed. 
  • Delegating tasks to writers and editors and providing feedback. 
  • Creating, adjusting, and managing the editorial calendar. 
  • Establishing style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content. 
  • Developing a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional market research. 
  • Building and nurturing a team of talented designers and content strategists to excel.
