Job description:
Role & Responsibilities: - Provide technical pre-sales support in articulating design with good product knowledge of Campus and Data Center Networking infrastructure.
- To study, analyze, integrate, architect infrastructure solution according to customer’s business, technical and operational requirement.
- Assists in bidding efforts including solution architecting, preparation of BOM & quotation, liaising with partner/principal on technical aspects, solution verifications, proposal write-up, customer presentations, clarifications, proof of concepts and other related activities.
- Work with clients, vendors and internal team and responsible for end-to-end integration and design
- Incorporate with support services and managed services ideas into proposal.
Other Essential Requirements: - Ability to think through problems and visualize solution and quickly lean new or unfamiliar technology
- Knowledge of networking technologies (LAN, Wireless, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP etc.)
- Knowledge of network & application monitoring solutions
- Knowledge of traffic optimization and emerging SDN solution
- Knowledge of Cisco/Aruba/Huawei/ATI/H3C networking hardware and OS
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Good documentation and proposal writing skills
Qualifications: - Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalence
- Working experience in Cisco networking environment with hands-on skill on LAN switches, routers, firewalls and etc. Pre-sales experience is added advantage.
- Cisco, Huawei, Aruba principal certification is added advantage.
- Fair knowledge in common IT landscape for enterprise customer environment
