Key Responsibilities

The CIS MY Network Services Engineer is accountable for ensuring availability of networking services

for NTT Data Business Solutions Nordics. Ensuring network services are delivered in line with global

standards, compliances and available to SLA expectation.

 Administer the local area networks (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) at NTT Data Business

Solutions Nordics sites including configuration, consolidating, hardware upgrades, monitoring

performance and logs collection.

 Implementation, daily operations and maintenance of Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiGate network

equipment – 80% implementation and 20% operational tasks (Level 2)

 Setup, configure and administer the switches, routers, firewall at NTT Data Business Solutions

Nordics sites including configuration, consolidating, hardware upgrades, monitoring

performance and logs collection.

 Design, setup, configure and administer enterprise LAN/WAN switching/routing environments

to ensure safe and smooth network operation in line with approved standards.

 Provide improvement plans to the overall network environment.

 Ability to demonstrate technological possibilities / limitations in relation to meet business

needs. This includes the establishment of business cases, proof of concepts and to uncover

business opportunities.

 Monitor and troubleshoot network health, ensuring traffic volumes are within network capacity.

 Ensure that documentation is maintained and kept up to date in line with NTT Data Business

Solutions Nordics standards and policies.

 Share acquired knowledge with colleagues through formal documentation and communications

sessions.

 To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever

reasonably instructed.

 Always ensure that company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are

adhered to.

Education/Experience/Skills

 University degree in Information Technology / B.Sc

 Min 8+ years of experience in network engineering and network administration in data center

environment (multitenant data center experience is preferable).

 Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and common networking terms as well as knowledge of

network cabling.

 Proven experience of Design, maintain, configure and troubleshooting enterprise Forti/ Palo

Alto / Cisco network and infrastructure.

 Hands on with the below knowledge:

- Cisco IOS / ASA

- Meraki , SD WAN,Firewalls and Switching

- HPE /Aruba Wi-Fi & Switches

- Cisco Firepower

- Netflow,

- Solarwinds / other network monitoring and management tools

- Fortigate

- PaloAlto

 Proven experience/knowledge in common routing concepts such as BGP, OSPF,VRF’s and wan

concepts DMVPN and SD WAN.

 Cisco CCNP / Forti Firewall certifications qualification or equivalent competencies.

 Background experience of working within Fortinet and Cisco environment.

 Relevant industry experience.

 Strong English language – Written and Verbal and experience in international collaboration.
