Job description:

You will play an important role to:

  1. Responsible for the in-market sales achievement, through driving the growth in retail channel (modern trade and general trade) in the assign branches/Region.
  2. Identify the gap in assign branches/regional and propose ways to improve retail channel (modern trade and general trade)
  3. To track, monitor and analyze product, channel and customer sales trends in order to maximize sales opportunities and achieve desired sales results.
  4. Working with distributor sales team to ensure execution excellence in 4 key aspects i.e distribution expansion, product merchandising, on-shelf availability and promotion activities implementation in the retail channel.
  5. Provide market intelligence regarding to market trend and competitor activities in the respective region and provide recommendations for follow-up action whenever required.
  6. Provide sales operational support to sales team and assist in day-to-day coordination e.g. customer enquiry
  7. Responsible for data maintenance and execute analysis to extract and summarize different types of data e.g. IMS Report, price list maintenance. Support in preparation of weekly/ monthly sales report such as competitor and market audit report, sales forecast.
  8. To manage and track trade spend e.g. raise national PPF, A&P provision and ensure on time account payable to distributor

To be successful in this role, You need to have:

  • Minimum qualification of Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales and marketing, preferably from leading MNC food companies.
  • Experience in Retail trade channel is desired (working experience in other Trade Channels will also be considered) and experience in working through Distributors is preferred for this position.
  • Proficient in both Mandarin (spoken) and English (spoken and written) language, as required to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers.
  • Proficient Cantonese Language as advantage.
  • Strong logical thinking, analytical ability and sensitive to data using Microsoft excel, maintain high accuracy in reports and data e.g. pivot table and v-lookup
  • Willing to travel out-station and overseas where required.
