Main responsibilities:

• To operate and maintain boiler and ancillary equipment in a safe manner. (Ensure fully compliance to DOSH, DOE and all other regulatory requirements at all times).


• To ensure steady, reliable and uninterrupted steam to production plant by maintaining good communication with all parties and take quick actions and responses to issues.


• Responsible for all record all operational records, service reports, any incident report as well as maintain log books (as per legal requirement).


• To ensure steam line system is in good condition and assist in proper start-up and shutdown to minimize stress on the steam piping system. This include but not limited to proper purging on steam condensate to minimize hammering on the line.


• To support utilities operation and maintenance such as water supply system, air compressor system, wastewater treatment plant and plant maintenance activities if necessary.


• Actively involved in the Preventive Maintenance of the boiler during the weekly/ monthly/ yearly shutdown / during JKKP yearly renewal.


• To register own boilerman license to company (LKK) and to support company in meeting regulatory compliance in term of operation and running of a boiler under DOSH Malaysia.


• Establish and ensure spare part requirements and availability at all time in order to minimize breakdown time.


• Establish and ensure spare parts and storage activities such as plan service parts order, checking inventory level, update record, storage maintenance, spare part room/workshop cleanliness, safety and housekeeping are all in order.

Requirement:

• Candidates must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/O-Level in any field.


• Certified Boilerman Grade 1 or Grade 2 certificate issued by JKKP Malaysia.


• At least 2 year(s) of boiler hands-on operation experience in manufacturing/production field, preferably in food industries.


• Able to write and speak in Malay and English.


• Able to work in rotational shifts.


• Able to work at extra hours or on Sunday.


• Computer literate


• Must be willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor.
