Lab Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for physiochemical testing of semi-finished good, finished goods, shelf-life, raw material and WWTP according to sampling plan or schedule.
• Upkeep laboratory including managing lab inventory, preparation of solutions, cleaning and setting up of lab instruments.
• Assist to coordinate daily sample send out to external labs for testing.
• Responsible for media and agar preparation for environmental monitoring test.
• Responsible to conduct microbiological analysis for semi-finished good and finished goods according to sampling plan or schedule.
• Responsible to conduct microbiological analysis for flow out, follow up quarantine record and waste material disposal.
• Responsible for aerobic spore count & starch decomposing aerobic spore count for designated raw material.
• Assist spike test analysis of either incoming raw materials or other related samples if/when needed (including stress test or monthly microbe result, microscopic picture verification and sign off spike test file).
• Responsible for lab safety adherence and execute safety procedure for laboratory environment; ensuring work area is clean and perform clerical duties as necessary.
• Any job to be assigned from time to time.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor and Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan. 

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field. 
• Previous experience in physiochemical or microbiology laboratory would be advantageous. 
• Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply. 
• Attention to details. 
• Ablet to plan and prioritise tasks. 
• Demonstrate good numeracy and computer liberate.
• Candidate must be able to work on night shift and overtime on Saturday and Sunday (If required). 
• Candidate must be willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor and Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
