BO Chargeman

Duties & Responsibilities: -

• To ensure steady, reliable and uninterrupted power supply to production plant by maintaining good communication with all parties, take quick actions and responses to issues.
• Responsible for plant & machinery availability & reliability and attend to equipment breakdown.
• To ensure all laws and regulations related to electrical system and installation are complied with the authority.
• Responsible to record all operational records, service reports, any incident report as well as maintain log books related to electrical.
• Establish, check and review annual maintenance planning for electrical facilities.
• Plan and develop good preventive and predictive maintenance program in order to reduce the number of unscheduled breakdowns.
• Continuously review the critical spare part list for Electrical and Instrumentation item and frequently updated it whenever its necessary.
• Report, monitor and analyze equipment performance and reliability in order to ensure production targets are met at all times and minimize plant downtime.
• To establish process documentation and work instruction in support of process change and improvement.
• To ensure good housekeeping, cleanliness and tidiness of all the electrical/control panel, included machineries and equipment.
• To abide to Health and Safety rules, such as ensure that appropriate PPE is worn to prevent unforeseen accidents.
• Strictly adhere to safe work procedures, regulations and procedures determined by the company.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices at all workplace at all times.
• Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice, food hygiene and food safety system.
• Responsible for the execution ISO9001, HACCP, FSSC and any other management system implementation in the function.

Requirements & Skill: -

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, or equivalent Degree in related field.
• Possess a valid chargeman BO grade certificate
• A competent person or possess relevant certification certified by Suruhanjaya Tenaga will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge in Electricity Supply Act, Electricity Regulations is essential.
• Preferable with 3-4 years hands-on operation experience in manufacturing/production field, preferably in food industries.
• Experience in supervisory skills
• A good team player
• Independent, self-motivated and aggressive
• Discipline with good interpersonal & communication skill
• Able to write and speak in either Malay or English.
• Strong verbal & communication skills
• Possess good trouble-shooting & problem-solving skills
