Job description:
Overall Job Scope: On top of fundamental Zone Finance operation, this function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support for business decision making, toward achieving business goals. Financial Reporting, Analysis and Planning - Responsible for the accurate and timely management reporting to both the local team and headquarter.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Assist in managing the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modelling tools.
- Monthly Financial reports (e.g. APAC consolidated APAC MBRM)
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs as well as new projects
- Analyze complex financial information and reports (routine or Ad hoc) to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management and function heads for decision making purposes.
- APAC MBRM: Coordinate for consolidation of South Asia (SA) and North Asia Pacific (NAP) sub-zones into APAC reporting, support in preparation of monthly business review, performance tracking and variance analysis
A&P Spending and Claim Process Control - Maintain and continuous enhancement of Advertisement & Promotion spending and claim control system and processes of SA; to ensure spending application is duly approved, claim submit on time, accrual made in compliance to LKK corporate policies and accounting policies. Produce spending and claim rate report and conduct necessary periodical meeting with Sales & marketing team to ensure all spending is tracked and closed on time.
Full balance sheet management - Manage full balance sheet of the SA companies to ensure healthy debts collection/ aging, Inventory holding, stock write off control and NRV provision, Payables, assets and equity.
Budget & Forecasting - Support and drive pro-actively where appropriate SA annual budgetary and forecasting processes including long term strategic plan, prepare analysis and reporting templates for presentation and submission on timely basis
- Coordinate budgetary planning with NAP Finance team, to facilitate consolidation into APAC efficiently within timeframe and guidelines
Business Partnering support - support & provide input for business decision making for business growth of SA trading companies in financial and non-financial aspect within his capability, including analysis with relevant insight for identifying relevant Market weakness and opportunity for sales growth, productivity and profitability improvement.

- Participate and/or lead relevant initiatives or projects cross functionally when required including profitability improvement, business processes improvement, Digital Transformation projects implementation, etc.
- Assist and/or lead in NAP/ SA processes harmonization initiatives including A&P control, AR control, analysis and reporting practices, Internal control and others as assigned
People, Organization and team Development - Supervise Finance team for its Trading Companies, provide support to subordinates and resolution of issues
- Manage and organize team toward efficient and sustainable set-up and structure, motivated and harmony environment; promote continuous self-enhancement and provide guidance and opportunity for personal development
Compliance & Internal Control - Ensure comply with corporate policies and procedures and applicable approved Accounting Standard Board/ Companies Act in respective SA countries
- Jointly Assist in promulgating and upholding of internal controls; work with other team members from other functions, plan & control Finance policies and procedures to achieve company objectives.
Job Requirements: - Professional Degree in Accounting and finance or related disciplines.
- At least 10 years’ working experience from FMCG commercial with solid Statutory/ Audit/ Tax background.
- Preferably with exposure of SEA or APAC environment.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese languages.
