Our client is the leading E-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. It is a platform tailored for the region, providing customers with an easy, secure, and fast online shopping experience through strong payment and logistical support.

We are currently hiring for Peninsular Malaysia (Semenanjung Malaysia) and East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak)

This is a Business Development & Sales role focused on partner acquisition for the client program.

(A) Service Point Acquisition

You will be responsible for convincing retail shop owners to join the Service Point Program (Buyer Self Collection), where their store will acts as a Drop-Off & Pick-Up point for parcels.

Main Objectives

Convince shop/retail owners to become program partners.

Help expand Buyer Self Collection (BSC) network.

Manage end-to-end onboarding: from pitching to contract signing and partner training.

 

(B) Merchant Acquisition

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) footprint by acquiring and managing offline merchant partners. This is an on-field, sales-driven role where you'll be the face of client brand and services in your assigned area, directly engaging with merchants to drive adoption and usage of our flexible payment solutions.

Main Objectives

Actively go out into the field to identify potential merchants (e.g., retail stores, service providers) that could benefit from client service and products.

Pitch relevant ideas to merchants, showing them how it can help grow their business by offering customers flexible payment options.

Convince decision-makers to come onboard—this involves cold-calling, face-to-face meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.

Close deals and negotiate contract terms.
