Customer Auditor (Audit & Compliance Specialist)

A global professional services organization is seeking an experienced Audit & Compliance Specialist to support customer and financial compliance audits within a complex, international operating environment. This role works closely with cross-functional stakeholders and plays a key role in strengthening risk management, governance, and control frameworks across regions.

Key Responsibilities

  Design and execute risk-based audit test plans across financial and operational processes

  Perform audit fieldwork using appropriate auditing methodologies, tools, and data analytics

  Consolidate audit findings and present clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders

  Follow up on the implementation of agreed corrective actions

  
  


• 
  

  Coach and mentor junior auditors within the team

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with regional and global teams to identify emerging risks

  
  


• 
  

  Lead global risk management and compliance initiatives

  
  


• 
  

  Apply data analytics to identify trends, control gaps, and improvement opportunities

  
  


• 
  

  Drive continuous improvement of policies, processes, and internal controls

  
  


• 
  

  Deliver audit and compliance-related training when required

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline

  
  


• 
  

  5–8 years of experience in finance, audit, or financial compliance roles

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in internal audit, external audit, or investigation functions

  
  


• 
  

  Strong financial modelling and analytical skills

  
  


• 
  

  Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI

  
  


• 
  

  Working knowledge of Python and/or SQL

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  
  


• 
  

  Proven ability to manage projects in a global environment
