Job description:
POSITION: Field Sales Engineer – Fluid Connectors LOCATION: Malaysia REPORTING LINE: Local Division Director – FCS PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: You work as part of a professional Field Sales Team introducing our quick mold change system, fluid and gas couplings; starting with customer/prospect visits, calls and e-mail, evaluating solutions and finally get the orders, determinate your daily work. Main Responsibilities - Develop new customers base in Malaysia with a strong focus on industrial and plastic segment as well as oil and gas applications.
- During customer/prospect visits/phone calls you require to understand their applications and introduce our solutions to address these applications
- Maintaining existing customer base
- Follow running projects closely
- Document your activities in our CRM system
- Support for marketing activities like exhibitions and social media
- Feedback regularly about market trends and received competitor information
- Report to the Local Division Director
Skills & Qualifications - Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics)
- Minimum of 3 years experiences in sales
- Hands on experience in mechatronics and hydraulics will be added advantage
- Curious personality who wants to understand customers applications and likes to develop and propose innovative solutions
- Team player, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently
- Able to build strong Customers relationships
- Possess a car driving license, preferably with own vehicle
- Willing to undertake traveling 5% of the time
- Proficient in computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
- Previous experience of working with CRM would be advantageous.
