Job description:
Job Description: - Assist the Merchandiser in ensuring availability of client brands in designated outlets.
- Accompany the Merchandiser on scheduled calls per route plan.
- Conduct effective selling and negotiate sales.
- Execute activations, campaigns, and trade activities as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of merchandising tools.
- Ensure allocated shelf space meets agreed standards.
- Provide high-quality sales service, building strong business relationships.
- Identify trade opportunities to enhance sales and market presence.
- Stand in for the Merchandiser when required, ensuring compliance with responsibilities.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and trade KPIs set by the Area Sales Manager.
Job Requirements: - Basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with selling techniques, including the "Steps of the Call" approach.
- Basic knowledge of stock management and merchandising principles.
- Proficiency in using business tools like DSD/Retail Eye or willingness to learn.
- Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Own transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
- Goods Driving License (GDL) required for work purposes.
- Minimum 1 year of FMCG industry experience with exposure to various sales channels.
- Minimum qualification of SPM/MCE (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia/Malaysian Certificate of Education).
