Specialization: PURCHASING OR INVENTORY OR MATERIAL AND WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
Job description:
Job Description :- - To involve in supplier management that includes sourcing, selection, negotiation and obtain quotation for all material and equipment required by project sites
- To negotiate best pricing, monitors and assures continuous improvement of supplier performance
- To maintain proper records of purchases, quotations/sources, suppliers’ information and documentations
- Liaise and work closely with suppliers and other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies
- Interaction with Project Managers/Site Engineers/Site Supervisors on cost of equipment for their final cost and progress schedule management inclusive of documentation to be submitted to relevant parties
- To observe, track and give feedback to project sites for frequent order material without over supplying
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior and the management
Requirements :- - Diploma/Degree in any related field
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field especially in Construction based company.
- Able to multi-task, work independently and a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word & accounting software
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
- Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese
- Preferably Chinese Female
