Company Background:

Our client is an established multinational FMCG manufacturer, and they are currently looking for a Supply Chain Director to be based in Selangor.

Overall Job Purpose:

Lead and manage the Supply Chain function to ensure products availability, well control and optimize local inventory levels to meet business requirements, ensuring effective forecasting which guarantee reactivity to the demands of the market. Competent to develop the supply chain model of forecasting mechanism, S&OP process and strategic replenishment planning.

Job Responsibilities:

To guarantee customers’ requirements on time and quantity.

  • Managing the S&OP for the site to ensure industrial capacities reach the monthly forecast for the year in accordance to stocks levels targets.
  • Managing production planning to ensure planning is meeting the requirements and it’s determined on SKUs by categories. Taking into consideration of production constraints and batches optimization.
  • Ensuring procurement for all raw/packaging materials, co-packed finished goods and POS.
  • Managing sales forecast, from global to detailed by SKU;
  • Ensuring all new/modified products (finished goods or raw/pack materials) are taken into account to reach the launch/switch (lead-time and stocks management).
  • Managing her/his KPI, with the Supply Chain teams, her/his peers and Director, also with the HQ.
  • Ensuring stocks control, obsolescence management, reliability and inventories.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in any business field and other disciplines. APICS certified or related certification preferred.
  • More than 8 years of supply chain management hands on experience in multinational company related to similar category
  • Knowledge of the market, suppliers, cost drivers, process improvement, market trends, business model, and continuous improvement process.
  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Computer literate in Microsoft application and exposure to an integrated ERP software
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage, communicate & influence senior stakeholders, business partners, and cross functional team (internal & external).
  • Competent in material planning, import and export, FTA, 3PL & logistics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work in Selangor
