Job Responsibilities:
1. Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for production equipment, including bottling, labelling, and packaging machines.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is operating at peak performance.
2. Troubleshooting and Repair
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting procedures to identify root causes of issues.
- Execute repairs promptly to minimize disruption to production operations.
3. Technical Support
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff regarding equipment operation and safety.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper functioning of all machinery and adherence to safety & food safety standards.
4. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Generate reports on maintenance activities and equipment downtime for management review.
- Prepare SOP for end users where required
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Attend & participate in discussion on new equipment, tools & software
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in equipment maintenance and reliability.
6. Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety within the workplace and participate in safety training programs.
7. Other Responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance tools, maintenance workshop and equipment are in good & hygienic condition.
- Ensure workplace is always in good housekeeping.
- May be required to work on shift in rotation basis with the other maintenance technician.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or any other related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years in similar functions and preferably from food manufacturing.
- Experience working in beverage industry is added advantage.
- Familiar with CMMS, SAP software.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with PLCs and automated systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP.
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point etc).
- Candidate must be willing to work in Rawang, Selangor.
