Responsibilities

 Support the Planning Lead to establish, set up, and operate the Material Control Planning

department at our new optical sensor manufacturing facility in Melaka

 Ensure on time availability of raw material supply for manufacturing orders

 Create manufacturing orders due to the monthly demands in alignment with the production

capacities

 Create PR and PO’s for all raw material to external and internal suppliers

 Responsible for communication & escalation with suppliers in case of supply issues

 Responsible for the material control planning and manufacturing orders planning as the local

process owner

 Responsible for all material planning functions during the SAP implementation and taking over

the role as SAP key user for the module MM as well as for the planning tool Diskover

 Responsible for the delivery performance and raw material inventory control (KPI’s)

 Collaborate and work closely with material control planners and order management in the HQ in

Germany, Singapore Hub and China factory

 Collaborate with all internal interfaces and neighbouring departments (Production, Purchasing,

Quality Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance & Controlling and HR) as well

as corporate functions from headquarters

Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in Material Planning/ Business Administration Management, Electronics,

Industrial Engineering or related fields with Material Management background or equivalent

 Evidence of 3-5 years or more working experience in material planning and work order planning

 Independent, proactive and result-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced and lean environment

 Attention to details plus analytical proficiency

 High business integrity and honesty is a must

 Entrepreneur spirit and thinking, excited to be part of the pioneer set-up

 In-depth understanding of international work environment (German culture), work practices, high

quality results plus products and standards

 SAP experience and being able to be the SAP key user MM at the site
