Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounts.
• Preparation of intercompany & monthly bank reconciliation.
• Preparation of budget, forecast, cash flow projections.
• Accounts payable end-to-end tasks including receiving, review and preparation of payments.
• Account receivable follow-ups and collections.
• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure compliance with local legal regulations and requirements.
• Analyze financial statements, sales & inventory reports.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents to ensure in compliance with accounting standards, corporate income tax and statutory requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Accounting/ CIMA/ ACCA or relevant qualification, with at least 3 years working experience in closing of full set of accounts.
• Familiar with accounting ERP system, preferably SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Power Point.
• Able to independently manage different tasks concurrently & adhere to deadlines.
• Knowledge in Singapore tax would be an added advantage.
• Willing to work in Melaka
