Application Engineer

Responsibilities
▪ Provide technical helpline support to products and applications enquiries from Asia Sales subsidiaries technical
teams.
▪ Provide on-site support to customers to resolve product applications issues whenever deem necessary, including travel to Asian countries.
▪ Support Asia Sales subsidiaries in Service Level project services.
▪ Establish new solution for emerging product applications in Asia.
▪ Support products training for technical colleagues in Asia
▪ Working closely with key stakeholders (local & overseas) to continuously improve technical helpline productivity.
▪ Responsible to support rapid sales growth in Asia Pacific, including Turkey.

Requirements

▪ Must have 4-6 years of working experience in product application support or field application support.
▪ Possesses good knowledge of FA products including proximity sensors, area scanner, barcode reader, safety curtain, safety scanner.
▪ Pre/Post sales support/consultancy experience preferred.
▪ Working knowledge of Field Bus communication interface protocols (e.g. ProfiBus, ProfiNET, EtherNet/IP,
EtherCAT) will be a plus.
▪ Experience in integrating sensors (barcode scanner or camera-based products experience to IPC, PLC is
highly desired.
▪ Possess project management skills in managing multiple tasks execution.
▪ Good communication and technical documentation skills.
