Job Responsibilities:

Set up, establish and operate the Finance & Controlling department in our new manufacturing facility in close cooperation with our headquarters

 Fully responsible and in-charge for overall accounting, finance & controlling function

 Ensure and execute daily accounting transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, accruals and prepayments  Responsible for strategic and financial management including financial planning and budgeting, treasury, cost control in close cooperation with our headquarters  Responsible for all Controlling tasks of a manufacturing plant (e.g. establish a KPI system, etc.)  P&L reporting – preparing financial and management reports for discussion, review finance reports and analyzing variances

 Ensure timely closure of management accounts, year-end closing & statutory compliance

 Annual budgeting, target setting & forecasting – prepare and analyze reports and make recommendations relating to annual budgeting, target setting and forecasting process – “being the Finance & Controlling sparring partner for the plant manager and all department managers”

 Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, authorities etc.

 Perform in-depth analysis on business performance, provide professional judgement on financial matters and advise on ways of continuous improvement.

Job Requirements
 Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree with focus on Finance & Controlling or equivalent

 5-8 Years of experience in Finance & Controlling, preferably with headquarters abroad

 Ability to work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment

 Entrepreneur spirit, excited to be part of a manufacturing plant “start-up”  Strong leadership skills, proactive and result-oriented

 Very hands-on to deal with a variety of tasks, comfortable starting as a single contributor

 Attention to detail and accuracy

 Proficient in accounting software (SAP knowledge desired) & Microsoft Office applications (excellent Excel skills etc.)

 Strong organization and time management skills to ensure scheduled deadlines

 In-depth understanding of German culture, work practices and standards

 Good communication skills – verbal and in written

 Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English - German as a plus
