Logistics Manager

Establish, set up, operate and lead the Logistics department at our new optical sensor manufacturing facility in Melaka

 Ensure on time goods receiving, picking and production supply for manufacturing orders

 Ensure on time deliveries to customers (mainly overseas)

 Responsible for manpower planning and for all logistic processes as local process owner

 Responsible for all logistic functions during the SAP implementation

 Cooperate and coordinate with external partners (forwarders, import/ export agencies, Royal Malaysian Customs, auditors and other legal authorities)

 Oversee the logistical workflows to ensure high quality and productivity

 Responsible for local KPI-Reporting in cooperation with headquarters

 Taking over the role as a SAP key user

 Full budget responsibility for the Logistic department - annual budget and forecasting process

 Collaborate with all internal interfaces and neighboring departments (Production, Purchasing, Material Planning, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Facility Management, Finance & Controlling and HR) as well as corporate functions from headquarters
