Specialization: MANUFACTURING OR PRODUCTION OPERATIONS
Your tasks:
• Supervise and lead a group of Operators in daily routines to meet organization's goals
• Responsible for implementing production schedule and ensuring effective use of manpower
and equipment to meet daily output goals
• Update shift performance with details misses, OEE, Man Capacity and Utilization
• Daily Shop floor meeting with Planner, Logistics for delivery status follow up
• Quality report for Incoming Materials defects
• 1st Level technical support for machine issue’s including repairing and next level escalation to
Engineering
• Maintenance support for production equipment (PM, 5S, Lubrication)
• Monthly, Quarterly, half year and annually preventive maintenance update
• Maintenance spare parts order and spare parts management
• Daily completed goods delivery follow-up with Logistics
• Internalize positive work culture and implement to ensure high standard of housekeeping of
machine and vicinity
• Handling grievance, complaints, employee problem and disciplinary issue through effective
counseling
• Facilitate continuous improvement on process simplification, labor productivity and cost
reduction
• Ensure conformance to the quality system requirement
• Ensure positive and effective communication
• Cross training Operators to enhance their job competencies
• Manage inventory control of all the stock items to meet department budget and in cases where
there is over usage, need to investigate the cause and define preventive actions
• Maintain safe work practices and comply to safety rules
Production Engineer
Melaka/Malaysia Full time
• Good understanding in local applicable laws, any regulations or procedures, standards/codes (internal control) and ensure compliance in the work area
• Encourage workers and to report any kind of violations to labor, ethics and EHS
• Other duties as assigned
• Collaborate with all internal interfaces and neighboring departments (Material Planning, Purchasing, Quality Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance & Controlling and HR) as well as corporate functions from headquarters
Your profile:
• Bachelor's degree in Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), IT background or equivalent
• At least 3 years or more of working experience in the related field is required
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
• Good skills in Microsoft Excel, Macro & Planning will have added advantage
• Shift work is mandatory
• Strong leadership skills, proactive and result-oriented
• Good knowledge in interpersonal communication
• Able to plan and execute plans effectively
• Effective team building skills
• Possess effective decision-making skills and think logically
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details plus analytical proficiency
• High business integrity and honesty is a must
• Ability to work independently in a changing, fast growing, and multi-tasking environment
• Excited to be part of the pioneer set-up
• Hands-on to deal with a variety of tasks
• In-depth understanding of international work environment (German culture), work practices, high quality results plus products and standards
• SAP experience in production as a plus
• International travel willingness
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English; German as a plus.
