NPI Manager

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS :

1. To assist the Head of Product Management for overall performance of the function in meeting

the defined targets, in line with the company’s quality policy, goals and objectives.

2. To coordinate the function activities of the company with the Operations/Quality teams in

achieving optimum productivity, cost, quality, safety, timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

3. To liaise with Supply Chain Department personal to optimize the production planning and

scheduling of new products and FAI (first article inspection).

4. To liaise with on related matters with relevant departments and customers technical teams

where required.

5. To lead, coach, and motivate staff in their skill/knowledge development to contribute

effectively towards company’s quality policy, goals, and growth.

6. To review technical drawings from customer and specifications of supplier in new material

qualification process. To engage customer and supplier to negotiate a mutually agreed set of

specs that PEM are capable of achieving good yields in production.

7. To perform regular update of costings of existing parts in production as well as new RFQ

(request for quotation) to support sales effort.

8. To manage the entire FAI production process to ensure the samples meet the specifications of

customer the first time.

9. Responsible to document the bill of materials (BOM) of new products.

10. To execute any other duties assigned by superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

1. Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

2. Minimum 10 years of working experience in engineering design or quality role.

3. A highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills.

4. Strong communication and people management skills.

5. Passionate about semiconductor packaging technology and self-driven individual who is able

to work well under pressure delivering accuracy and commitment in an MNC manufacturing

environment.
