Job Title: IT Controller

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Controller to join our Global IT Controlling Team in Kuala Lumpur. As an IT Controller, you will act as a financial business partner for our Global IT function. Your responsibilities will include providing accurate rolling forecasts, tracking actual cost developments, managing IT product/service cross-charges, and supporting day-to-day controlling operations. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our controlling processes and enhance cost transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Business Partner: Regularly interact with team leads, product owners, and project managers to provide transparency on actual and projected cost/cross-charging developments.
- Subject Matter Expert: Handle inquiries and manage cross-charging topics effectively.
- Controlling Operations: Ensure timely and accurate cross-charging, and manage controlling processes such as rolling forecasts, invoice control, cost recognition, and month-end closing.
- Analysis and Recommendations: Conduct in-depth analyses to propose actionable recommendations aimed at cost efficiency and transparency.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance our controlling processes continuously.
- Global Finance Community: Engage with a network of over 500 finance and controlling professionals worldwide.

What We Need:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in controlling; IT controlling experience is highly advantageous.
- Skills: Proficiency with SAP (cost center reports, internal orders, etc.), strong problem-solving abilities, and effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Work Style: Proactive, self-organized, with excellent prioritization skills and a strong ability to handle complexities.
- Language: Fluent in English.
