Job description:
We represent our client, a leading supplier of building materials in Malaysia seeking for Compensation & Benefits Specialist based in Selangor.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage and process employee movements, including recruitment, promotion, transfer, and exit, ensuring accurate payroll updates.
- Administer monthly payroll and employee benefits in a timely and compliant manner.
- Support the implementation and review of compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive pay and benefits structures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to HR and payroll.
- Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and safeguard sensitive information.
- Prepare HR-related reports, such as headcount, attendance, and government submissions.
- Communicate compensation, benefits, and HR policy information clearly to employees.
- Assist in annual salary review, bonus exercises, and other HR projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices and regulations
- Attention to detail and ability to deal appropriately with confidential information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using Workday and SAP system
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess a high degree of integrity and display maturity when dealing with stakeholders
