Job description:

A Day In The Life of A Brand Manager

1. Delighting Consumers

a. Strong acumen of consumer needs and what delights them.

b. Draw connection between consumer facts and situations, turning them into campaigns which resonate with consumers

c. Conceptualize, lead and execute campaigns which builds stronger brand love with consumers.

2. Lead and Grow the Business

a. Quick to identify market opportunities and gaps.

b. Plan campaigns and/or innovate portfolios to capture said market opportunities and gap.

3. Business Profitability

a. Ensure efficient use of brand’s media spend

4. Business Longevity

a. Involved in long term portfolio and brand planning

b. Lead launch management and launch plans of assigned brand

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Marketing or Business Admin

• Minimum 3 years’ experience

• Experience with managing a brand

• Experience in FMCG would be an advantage

• Project management experience

• Must be proficient with written and spoken English and Malay

• Proactive, Independent and result driven

• Analytical minded, with effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Keeps in-trend on what’s new in both traditional and digital media scene

• Keeps abreast of the latest trends
