Job Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership & Development: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team focused on the Malay market, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.
- Foster a strong team culture, promoting motivation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Recruit, provide training and coaching to enhance the team's capabilities.
2. Market Expansion & Business Growth: - Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and brand presence in the Malay community.
- Identify opportunities for business growth, partnerships, and product positioning within the Malay market.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
3. Sales & Marketing Strategy: - Work closely with the marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotions that resonate with Malay consumers.
- Ensure marketing materials, messaging, and branding align with the cultural and linguistic preferences of the Malay audience.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly to achieve revenue targets.
4. Stakeholder & Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and customers in the Malay market.
- Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
5. Operational & Financial Management: - Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for the Malay market operations.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness in all business activities.
- Oversee operational processes and address challenges to improve efficiency.
Job Requirements: - Proven leadership and managerial experience, with a strong background in retail targeting Malay consumers within a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of Malay culture, consumer behavior, and business practices.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
