Job description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and plan the Pre requisite Program, construct process flow diagram, identify potential hazards associated with each step and consider control.
  • Develop and update quality control procedures and protocols to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure the production of soy sauce.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the fermentation plant to identify quality issues and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and analyse production processes to identify deviations/ potential risk  and take consider measures to control identified hazards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct product testing and analysis to verify compliance with quality specifications and food safety standards.
  • Manage documentation and record-keeping related to quality control activities, audits, and inspections.
  • Provide training and guidance to plant personnel on quality control procedures, food safety practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to soy sauce production and quality assurance.
  • Participate in line commissioning, validate the key parameters and implement the monitoring system for any new changes / set up.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • University Degree in Science major or related subject such as Food Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Food Engineering, etc.
  • Have minimum 2-3 years working experience in food manufacturing industry, proven experience in quality assurance and quality control in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in soy sauce production or fermentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Food safety and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 ) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in use of computer (Microsoft office, and conferencing skills through zoom).
  • Proficiency in Chinese languages for effective communication with bilingual teams ( oversea) and stakeholder.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
