Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a well-established Japanese MNC company and a leading manufacturer of secondary aluminium alloy ingots, operating in Malaysia. The company specializes in producing high-quality aluminium alloys for various industries, ensuring top-tier standards and innovation. Currently, they are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented candidate for the position of Engineer, based in Bukit Raja, Klang.

Responsibilities:

1) To perform Engineering AutoCAD Drawings as requested by superior authorities.

2) To assist superior or Senior Engineer on daily activities

3) To carry out & co-ordinate Projects to make sure on schedule & delivery to customer with good condition.

4) To perform furnace troubleshooting activities – Troubleshooting problems, replacement burner parts, arrangements tools & equipment need etc.

5) Supervise & Monitoring Sub-Con works progress & quality according to company needs.

6) Able to be travelling Overseas / Outstation according projects arrangements.

7) Possess good personal skills and able to work as a team or individually.

8) Responsible in reporting on site situations & work status daily.

9) Make records of parts or materials usage for furnace maintenance. Report to engineer / manager for usage & balance parts quantities.

10) To do final check and confirmation before furnace handover to customer.

11) To liaise with suppliers / manager related to parts delivery schedule.

12) Responsible for the cleanliness of working area.

a) To ensure that the area is clean, and the finished goods are properly arranged at all times.

b) To instruct contractor workers to clean area of work after work done.

13) To educate contractor workers on all the procedures including cleanliness, safety, quality and day-to-day duties.

14) To perform any other duties as per instructed by the head of department.

Requirements:

• Qualification : Minimum Degree in Engineering with working experience
• Experience : 3 years & above-related working experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin (as need to liaise with China suppliers)
