Main job purpose

The primary objective of this role is to perform due diligence on rating the credit of the borrower.

The role provides constant opportunity to working with different stakeholders and business throughout the organization and learn more about every aspect of our credit control operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing and annual due diligence.
• Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk.
• Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to managers, especially findings that involve a customer’s ability to repay.
• Keep up to date with the company’s leasing policies.
• Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit applications.
• To approve the lease classification form (LCF).

Audit Controls, Compliance & Others:

• Maintain Credit Approval module documentation.
• Ensure internal controls are efficient and operate in respect of Group Compliance policies.
• Assist in statutory audits by regulatory bodies/auditors (external and internal).
• Assist in other ad hoc reporting or project.

Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in Finance / Accounting
• Preferable 3-4 years relevant working experience
