- Coordinate with Purchasing Department regarding new raw materials needed for product development.
- Conduct laboratory trials to prepare prototypes sample.
- Prepare sample for management meeting.
- Take part in the New Product Development (NPD) meeting to liaise with stakeholders on the requirements and issues during product development.
- Conduct sensory evaluation on developmental product.
- New idea generation for new product or product improvement.
- Conduct plant trial to confirm product and process specification predetermined in the laboratory.
- Supervises the execution of plant trials.
- Check and records the process parameter during the plant trials.
- Assist in commissioning of new line.
- Monitor Initial production of new products or new flavours.
- Evaluation alternative of raw materials or flavours.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Food Technologies / Science or equivalent.
- 1- 2 years of related experience.
- Dairy formulation experience strongly preferred with knowledge of ingredient functionality, chemistry, processing, and manufacturing
- Understanding of sensory and consumer research methodology
- Strong ability working with cross-functional teams
- Successful organization of training sessions and workshops.
