Company Background

Our client is a multinational company (MNC) headquartered in Taiwan in the electrical and electronics industry with global operations. Currently, they are looking for a Production Manager to be based in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of production, manufacturing, and factory operations. Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets and deliver high-quality products.


• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets, considering capacity, demand, and cost optimization.


• Review & monitor the usage, storage, and transaction to ensure the accuracy of production inventories and records.


• Closely monitor daily production activities and ensure daily production follows the planned production schedule.


• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.


• Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, technicians, and production workers to achieve production goals while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth production flows, part produced is of good quality and meet customer requirements.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control protocols within the manufacturing facility.


• Continuously improve production processes by implementing lean manufacturing principles, automation, and technology advancements.


• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and operational excellence within the manufacturing environment.


• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee development, and knowledge sharing within the production and manufacturing teams.


• Perform other duties assigned as and when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics/Electrical/ Manufacturing Engineering/Production Management or other related background.


• Minimum 5 years in similar position & capacity preferably in Manufacturing and electronic assembly environment.


• A good level of Microsoft Office and the ability to create datasheets and other document types.


• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia both orally and in writing. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin is an added advantage.


• A motivated person with strong work ethics and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Demonstrate application of knowledge and understanding of key principles in workflow, efficiencies, plant layout, production execution, measurement & improvement.


• Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environment standards and regulations.


• Strong leadership, problem-solving ability, organizational decision-making ability, and comprehensive coordination ability.


• Strategic thinker, analytical and continuous improvement mind-set.


• Strong team building, decision-making, people management and supervisory skills.


• Good working knowledge of 5S / Lean Manufacturing.


• Knowledge and understanding in ISO 9001:2015.


• Able to adapt quickly to changes in daily work plans and unplanned issues, maintaining a focus on productivity without compromising safety or quality.


• Willing to work in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.
