TMS Project Manager

• Role will coordinate across IT and the business, ensuring all actions and timings of covered to meet the critical deadlines.
• Responsible for the successful completion of the IT portion of the project.
• Deliver solution according to specifications.
• Report into IT program manager.
• Manage and track agreed IT Scope, schedule, change requests, and IT quality.
• Escalate risks and issues.
• Set-up IT coordination meetings. (e.g., steerco).
• Coordinate IT project resources so deliverables are completed within agreed-upon timeframes.

Job Requirement:

• Role requires Transportation Management System (TMS) deployment experience.
• SAP implementation experience, along with process knowledge.
• Global implementation will require working flexibility working in multiple time zones (will be phased implementation by region).
• Must clearly understand change control and enforce in a savvy way (because the business will push the envelope, but they are also our customer).
• Standard other PM competencies.
• Candidate MUST HAVE soft skills as well as knowledge of the technologies involved.
• Communication skills are very important, both verbal and written.
• Experience with PM tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Excel is a requirement.
• IT educational background is a plus.
• PMP certification is required for all submissions.
• Along with Chinese, must speak and read fluent English.
