General Purpose of Job

This job holder provides operational and technical support of IT directory services for domains, systems and networks of Huntsman's Global IT department. The job holder needs to work closely with internal stakeholders, managed service providers and 3rd party vendors.

Work hours typically include regular work hours during APAC timezone.

Required and expected to participate in conference calls/meetings outside of regular work hours, during US and Europe timezones (typically during APAC evening/night, 2-3 times a week)

May be required to work outside of regular hours to resolve significant issues.

Role estimation: 70% operations, 20% vendor/service management, 10% administration.

Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities

70% Executes all Microsoft Active Directory (AD) related operational and technical level support and maintenance activities, including production tools/applications feeding, synchronized, and used for integration with AD (including federated login and provisioning). Provides Level 3/advisory support for AD incidents and problems tickets that cannot be solved within the Service Level Target. Ensures the ongoing stable and secure operation of directory services and its data quality. Ensures proper Change Management in access and configurations of directory services activities. Assists with enabling seamless integration between applications, and in the evaluation and design of systems integrated within directory services and its protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, etc.). Supports and maintains the incremental integration of directories, domains, sub-systems and their interfaces in order to form a homogeneous directory environment for target business applications.

20% Reviews and manages the service quality and service delivery of Directory Services by outsourced service provider. Acts as an escalation path for Directory Services service delivery for Huntsman customers/users for issues that could not be resolved within Service Level Agreement from other IT teams and outsourced service provider.

10% Proposes improvements within the scope of the Directory Services team that will lead to automation, standardization, and consolidation for ease of support and maintenance. May recommend appropriate policies, procedures, and practices to strengthen internal operations.

5% May assist developing and documenting configuration standards.

5% May assist in AD systems architecture development tasks to meet identified project and business needs.
