IaC Developer

Position Summary:

You are responsible to contribute within the Automation Team, providing coding support for Puppet migration activity, module generation and the delivery of new automation initiatives. In collaboration with application and infrastructure teams, the role-holder will onboard both legacy and new infrastructure into our IaaC environment. There will be significant project work, involving new initiatives and new use cases for Puppet.

Job Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and assess existing configuration mechanisms for applications, platforms and security.
• Contribute to Puppet module coding activity (Ruby) in order to bolster the team’s Puppet Infrastructure as Code capability.
• Support other ad-hoc duties been assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree graduate in IT or Computer Science.
• Minimum 2 years' experience of mainstream operating systems and platforms (Windows/Linux).
• Coding experience with awareness of CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of Windows PowerShell, Unix Shell Scripting, Ruby, Cloud (Azure/AWS).
• Wide exposure to business applications and their typical architectures.
• Ability to persuade, think out-of-the-box and write good code.
