Job description:

Job Summary

  • Manage and ensure smooth, efficient shipment operations across multiple countries/regions.

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.

  • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers.

  • Oversee FTZ warehouse operations and ensure compliance with trade and customs regulations.

  • Optimize trade compliance under Free Trade Agreements (FTA).

 

 

Key Responsibilities

3PL & FTZ Warehouse Management

  • Establish warehousing processes for new products/businesses.

  • Ensure FTZ compliance and accurate customs reporting.

  • Coordinate inbound/outbound flows between FTZ and domestic/international sites.

  • Oversee Dangerous Goods handling in line with IATA regulations.

  • Support inventory accuracy, audits, and stock takes.

Import & Export Operations

  • Select and manage shipping modes and routes based on cost, lead time, and reliability.

  • Coordinate shipment arrangements with freight forwarders and service providers.

  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoice, packing list, BL, permits, etc.).

  • Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and resolve shipment issues.

Trade Compliance

  • Ensure all shipments meet international trade, customs, and safety standards.

  • Apply FTA rules to maximize duty savings.

  • Liaise with customs authorities and internal trade compliance teams.

  • Keep updated on regional trade and FTA regulations.

Administrative & System Support

  • Provide shipment updates to internal business units and regional SCM/Product teams.

  • Perform SAP transactions (Goods Receipt, Posting, Stock Transfer).

  • Provide freight cost estimates for analysis.

  • Monitor and manage 3PL KPIs.

  • Handle ad-hoc logistics and SCM tasks.
