Senior Machinist – Mechanical CNC Milling

Job Descriptions:

• CNC Programming: Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as M-code, G-code and familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam).
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Machine Operation: Extensive hands-on experience operating CNC machines and understanding their capabilities and limitations. (CNC Milling 3 axis, 5 axis).
• Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with CNC machines.
• Maintenance: Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices to ensure CNC machines operate efficiently and reliably.
• Quality Control: Understanding of quality control processes and procedures to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Safety: Adherence to safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing / Engineering experience in Mechanical CNC Milling.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with CNC Milling machines in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Associate’s Degree, Technical Diploma, Technical Certificate with relevant knowledge and experience.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as M-code, G-code and familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with CNC machines.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in manufacturing processes.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
