Our Client is a Multi-national company who is well known as an Equipment Manufacturer for smart electronics industry. They are #hiring for a Patent Engineer, to be based at Jiangsu Province, China.
Your role is important role to:
- Preparation of patent or utility model applications at national and international level and support from filing to grant
- Preparation of freedom-to-operate analyses and assessment of risks
- Participation in patent litigation proceedings and in the defense against infringement risks
- Supporting and advising the Research & Development department on issues relating to industrial property rights and patent strategy
- Coordinating with external patent attorneys on inventions, oppositions, examination reports, etc
- Carrying out novelty, opposition and FTO searches
To be successful in this role, You need to have:
- Minimum Degree in engineering
- Ideally 2 years of working experience or more
- Mandarin and English language proficiency (Verbal and Written) due to the need of communication with the locals in China
- Malaysian Nationality are welcomed
- Knowledge or experience in the machinery or semiconductor backend machinery/equipment
- High level of commitment as well as an independent, analytical and strategic way of working
