Company Information
We are representing our client, a well-established MNC Company, seeking for Warehouse Assistant in Melaka.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and distribute parts, goods, and WIP boxes from the main warehouse to pre-assembly and final assembly areas.
- Update and track inventory in SAP using barcode scanners; maintain accurate records of all stock movements.
- Perform stock checks (monthly random and annual full inventory) and manage stock reversals of unused parts/modules.
- Rearrange and optimize warehouse space for efficiency and ensure good housekeeping standards.
- Inspect completed modules for documentation, quality, and readiness before commissioning or delivery.
- Coordinate with assembly planners on module readiness, project requirements, reclamations, and deadlines.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed for safe and efficient material handling.
- Support cross-company orders and service requests by delivering stocks to packing and service departments.
- Monitor stock levels for both fast- and slow-moving items, reporting issues to planners/supervisors for action plans.
- Handle sensitive parts/modules with proper care during releasing, storage, or commissioning.
- Communicate proactively with requestors and stakeholders, providing timely updates on module readiness.
- Submit daily reports to supervisors on completed tasks, work in progress, issues, and improvement proposals.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Must hold a valid forklift license.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects when required.
