Senior Publishing Executive

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Production Leader, he/she is to oversee the design development of both Trade and customised projects in providing product support for Sales Team, and support the routine administration work. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Oversee the design development of both Trade and customized projects. 2. Provide initial design concepts to Product Director and Sales team for approval 3. Provide design directions to outsource designers 4. Work on request for file transfers, FTP access, photo library options and online proofs. 5. Provide quality checks to maintain smooth flow of production for print jobs before it is sent off for print production according to job specifications. 6. Communicating with printers based on job specification and checks for accuracy before mass production. 7. Checks proofs via hardcopy or softcopy based before and after it has gone to print. 8. Routine administration work: Maintain CD Library to ensure files are recorded completely for each project. C. 

Qualifications: 

1. Possess at least Diploma/Degree. 2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Design in the Publishing/ Printing Industry
