Deputy Principal, SEGi College Penang

Reporting and responsible directly to the Principal of the College

Responsibilities:

As a Deputy Principal, you will be a key member of the College’s Senior Management Team and will primarily be involved in professional and educational leadership. You are also required to be involved in strategic thinking/ planning and having the ability to deal with complex issues and manage change.

You will also assist the Principal in the following areas, among others:

• Financial management of the College.
• Overseeing development and implementation of academic programmes.
• Leading and supporting educational & pastoral initiatives.
• Mentoring and motivating staff & students.
• Driving business growth (Revenue, EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization), etc) of the College.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Education/ Education Management / Marketing/ Management, or other related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior management or leadership position. Prior experience in financial or strategic planning would be an advantage.
• Ability to develop a good working relationship with Principal, staff, students, parents and Board of Management and College Partners in education.
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of performance and leadership skills.
