Senior Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

As the Deputy General Manager for the Warehouse Department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with legal and industry standards. Your role involves implementing and enforcing policies, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a positive work environment for the warehouse staff. Additionally, you will be tasked with evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity, implementing security measures, and collaborating with other departments and customers.

Responsibilities

Overall Warehouse Operations Management

• Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the delivery of goods to meet customer expectations.

• Implement and enforce policies and procedures for efficient warehouse operations.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with legal, customs, and industry standards for warehousing, material handling, shipping, and safety.

• Oversee the implementation of security operations, including static guards, CMS, CCTV, and fire extinguishing equipment.

Inventory Management

• Utilize Warehouse Management System (T5 WMS, WIS) to maintain and monitor inventory levels.

• Conduct regular physical counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Keep accurate records of warehouse activities and maintain documentation.

Productivity Evaluation

• Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity.

• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.

Communication and Coordination

• Communicate effectively with other departments and customers to ensure seamless coordination of activities.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any issues and optimize warehouse processes.

Team Management

• Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.

• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance individual and team performance.

Daily Inspection

• Perform daily inspections of the warehouse grounds to identify and address any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Proven experiences in warehouse leadership roles with a minimum 10 years of warehousing experience with a focus on inventory control and logistics.

• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (T5 WMS, WIS) and other relevant warehouse operations system.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of legal and safety standards related to warehouse operations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
