PART 2: JOB PURPOSE

It is a form of 2 or 3 sentences that sums up what the job is basically about and should justify the existence of the job. It should clarify three things: a) What the job should do?; b) To whom or what it should be done? and; c) How it supports the business?

• Based on understanding of the Business requirement, ensure Test Data is prepared and available before commencing testing
• Take ownership of coordinating with respective teams to ensure SIT environment is up and ready before testing commences
• Able to conduct test and document test results and communicate reports periodically to all Stake Holders
• Conduct Defect Meetings with stakeholders to explain the defects take feedbacks, subsequently, plan next round of SIT testing
• Take ownership of software defects from discovery through to closure
• Provide Test Summary, Test Exit Reports and signoff at end of SIT phase
• Be able to provide man days efforts for project SIT tasks
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Provide effort estimation on Automation testing
• Develop on maintain Automation script based on requirement as SIT & Regression testing
• Provide automation test plan and execution report

Participate in user meetings, Business Users, Developers and Stakeholders

Gathering requirements, discussing the issue to be resolved, translating mapping documents into test cases 

Developing responsibility Matrices periodically

• Use Jira as the testing tool to build test cases, integrated scenario, defect management and daily reporting tools

Assist in the planning, setup and support of the testing environment to facilitate End-to-End business flow 

Writing Test Plans

Defining test cases, developing and maintaining test script according to the business specifications
