Job description:
We are assisting our highly reputable banking client to look for Application Support Senior Executive to join their team in Kuala Lumpur Roles & responsibilities - Planning & managing IT projects and exercise prudent project management principles to implement the projects/system enhancements successfully.
- Supervise the technical team, managing work assignments and skill resources in delivering quality output and meeting project deadlines.
- Design, analyse, code and test programs for system development / enhancements in accordance to user specifications
- Managing user requests, system enhancement, deployment, performance and problem resolution activities and be responsive to the needs and meeting user demands.
- Responsive to the needs of the user in meeting user expectations and demands including high number of user change requests.
- Achieve high quality of the system in terms of availability and meeting the agreed service levels.
- Team leading skills – technical and soft skills
- Manages application vendors
Requirements: - At least 3 years experience in Computer Science/Information Technology.
- Project management skills
- Application Architecture Analysis & Design
- Application Support - strong Analytical mind, good Problem analysis & Troubleshooting skills
- Team-leading qualities – coaching & team motivation
- Knowledge & experience in Unit Trust/Investment is preferable
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Technical skill-sets: Programming : HTML, HTML, Core JAVA, JAVA Script, Visual C++, Database : Oracle, OS : Windows Server, AIX/Sun Unix Server, Middleware : MQ, Weblogic, Websphere (WAS), iPlanet
